Wacom and Huion are not working well together

I got the Huion Gt-190s today but it doesnt seem to work well with my Wacom Intous Pro. Pen pressure will only work for one of them, whichever driver I installed the last.

I use Photoshop CC.

Are there any solutions for my problem?

Hi gdfgd ,

Please refer Tablet support for Photoshop on Windows 8 and Enable Windows Ink in the Wacom Control Panel.

Let us know if that helps.

WIndows Ink was already enabled, i tried turning it off and on but didnt change anything.

Have you tried installing the Wacom driver only and checked if it works?

Also make sure that

In Photoshop Brush's control panel (Brush Settings)
Shape Dynamics is checked.(if already checked,Try recheking it once)

Oh yes if i reinstall the driver the wacom intous will work, I dont even have to delete the Huion driver. My problem is that i want to switch between both tablets without reinstalling drivers and rebooting my pc.

Thanks for the link but thats a different issue - i can have pen pressure. Like i said, i just need to reinstall the Huion driver and reboot the pc. The Wacom wont work then but the huion works fine.

And yes shape dynamics is checked.

Yeah i will ask both Wacom and Huion about he issue, too.

Something i noticed: When i don't have pressure sensitivity with the Intous pro in Photoshop and i open the Wacom driver, click customize and try it there, pressure sensitivity seems to work.

I will return the Huion. Some people pointed out that the driver are incompatible.

I generally prefer the dual boot option (e.g. 2 Windows versions, or Windows + Linux) as being more reliable. (On a separate note, this also gives your computer an extra layer of protection in that if one OS has problems, you've got another one standing by).

Since the Huion has weird lag issues (especially when i tab back into photoshop) i decided its not worth the hassle.

This is purely a guess on my part and probably will not work, but here goes. First you're right Huion tablets do install a preferred version of WinTab32.dll, but this really shouldn't be a big problem to a Wacom tablet as with Photoshop CC 2014.2 onwards Photoshop started to implement Microsoft APIs' for stylus control avoiding the use of WinTab32 -so the file being there in a different version should not matter. You can switch which mode of stylus control Photoshop uses with a simple text file as described in the graphic below. I would have thought therefore it would be possible to switch between the Wacom and Huion driver simply by moving the text file in and out of the Photoshop folder and restarting the program. As I said this probably won't work but might be worth trying to save on the $1200 or so difference in cost between the Huion and a Wacom Cintiq.

argh shame. Look on the bright side though the Cintiq is a much better tablet, also sounds as if the prices are coming down at last.
