Hello,

Is it possible to create columns within a text frame for only part of the text within the frame? For example, can I turn a paragraph into two columns whereas the remainder of the text in the frame is only one column?

Or is the only way to achieve this to insert and anchor another text frame within the original frame?

This is for CS4.

Thank you.

Not for CS4.

This is a feature that was introduced in CS6.

Split/Span Columns with paragraph formatting.

From my German InDesign CS6:

A group of two threaded text frames anchored.
You gain some flexibility in column width and shape of columns.
