Windows 10 error message downloading book.

I tried downloading a book and when I drag the acsm file into ADE it crashes and I get the following message:

I can drag a book into ADE and can read it but I cannot add it to the library.

Any ideas hoe to fix this?

Its a error message with the eBook itself. Have you try to start it with a other internet browser?

I tried three different browsers and I get the same error message.  I unistalled ADE 4.51 three times and reinstalled it but the problem remains.

Didn't work.   I get the same error message from different download sites.

I tried adding a book to ADE and it says it is already there but I can't find it anywhere

Closed Digital Edition.
Rename My Digital Edition Folder in My Digital Edition.old

Start again.

Open a eBook

Also wen redownload the eBook?

You need a admin user for the trying?

Try this:
Uninstall Digital Edition.
Create a new user Account for your System.
Logout with the old user and login with the new user.
Install Digital Edition.
Start the programm and authorize with the Adobe ID.

Then open the eBook in Digital Edition. (Better you check if any securty Software anything blocked before).
