How do I import my Kobo library ebooks into Digital Editions?

I have a few ebooks in my Kobo library, and I'd like to include them in my Digital Editions library; but it seems that Kobo doesn't let me download the books as files, only include them in its own software or the ebook reader (a Kobo device, in my case).

Is there a solution to this?

Have you also a website of Kobo how you can found the files? If yes you can download the files over this and open in Digital Editions.
