I have created an InDesign document and I have transferred artwork, that is available on my local PC, into a dedicated CC library for the project as I have 2 or 3 different sized posters to design for the same project.
All looks well, until I try to re-open any of the documents where it suddenly states that:
"This document contains 14 links to sources that are missing. You can find or relink the missing links using the links panel."
So, I "OK" this and am shown my document and, lo-and-behold, the missing link sources are all displayed AND are all in my CC library for the project.
Except...when I export the document to PDF, so I can send it to my printer, the elements are all missing and are replaced by blank white square spaces!
Aaarrggghh!! I've spent a lot of money on this software exactly to prevent stupid, idiotic, crap like this happening and yet here we are again with the same old inexplicable IT nonsense that does nothing but make me want to move to the woods and become a spoon whittler.
Is this a known bug, how do I resolve it and
I'm using WIndows 10 and have all the latest updates installed for InDesign and CC Library.
Thank you for any advice or assistance offered. I'd really appreciate it because, as it stands, the software is useless at the moment.
