I just tried to download a book I purchased from Google Play to ADE. I have previously purchased books from google play, downloaded the EPUB into ADE and happily read them on my Kobo, with no problems. I bought a couple of books in a hurry last september, before a trip and they woudn't transfer into ADE. So i left without them and forgot about them, until today. I just tried again. The error message I get is:
Error getting license. License server communication problem. E_STREAM_ERROR.
I am using the same laptop with the same google play account and the same ADE version as earlier. I cannot understand what has changed.
Can anybody help? You will need to answer in plain english as I'm not a computer tech.
Thanks!

E_STREAM_ERROR. is a problem with the downoad server itself. Have you try to download the file with a other Internet Browser?

Hi there,
Thanks for your response. Apologies for my slow reply. I usually use google chrome. I just tried with internet explorer and it gave me exactly the same error message. I click 'download EPUB' in google play, then ADE opens and starts to download, then it stops and gives the error message 'Error getting license: License server communication problem: E_STREAM_ERROR:'

Hi,
I finally solved this. I needed to update my ADE. First requiring a windows update. Now that everything is back up to scratch, books are downloading fine from google play into ADE. This was probably obvious to a techy but took me a while to figure out!
