Adobe Digital Editions bad license.

Trying to download books using ADE for some reason on my laptop I am getting a license problem and it shows up as my business partners id.

I get an error saying UNable to download, error getting license.License Server Communication Problem: E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12

can anyone help me through this?
