So I have been using Lightroom 5.7.1 to edit pictures for eBay. I really like using the brush tool to make my backgrounds white, however, it is not leaving them completely white and is leaving a little bit of a tint. I'll post a picture so you can see what I am talking about. When I open the pictures in Photoshop it tells me the background color is #fefefe on all my pictures that I use the brush tool on. I have my exposure cranked up to 4.00 and everything left normal. Is there anyway I can get my brush tool to make the background color #ffffff? Thank you.
My understanding of the brush tool is that it is more for making adjustments than it is for painting. You might find other tools such as Photoshop or Photoshop Elements more effective. I sometimes use the adjustment brush in Lightroom to brush in colors for correction purposes. I have never tried to use it as a painting tool.
I'm sorry I mean the adjustment brush tool. It works really well to get rid of everything except my image. I just feel since it is leaving a little bit of a tint there must be a setting I can tweak to make a solid white background.
