CC Desktop Download error: FATAL: Fatal Error '123' occurred while download

I have this same problem on my Macbook Pro EVERYTIME there is an update.

I can update on my older tower just fine.

In the past, direct download links have been the only thing that worked successfully.

Re: Creative cloud update failed: Error 1002.

Those are no longer available.

I have cleared my cache (Chrome), I have deleted the OOBE and AAMUpdater folders - no improvements. .

I have tried changing my DNS servers to the adobe servers - no improvements.

I will not be updating to El Capitan at this time.

How can I get my downloads to work properly (i.e. Creative Cloud Desktop app)?

What do I need to do to keep this from happening ALL THE TIME?

This is very frustrating.

There seems to be a BIG problem.

I am on a Mac. 10.10.5.

Creative Cloud app version 3.7.0.272

Specifically, I'm trying to update/download Audition 2015.2, Media Encoder 2015.3.

BTW - I just updated Premiere CS6 (the Encore update) without a hitch.

All CC versions fail with the Download Error reported above.

Same error trying to update Adobe Muse on OSX 10.10.5. Had to use direct download link -- which no longer exists -- last time. This is absurd.

Still can't get the latest updates for Audition and Media Encoder.

Hi,

We have a  workaround for the Error that  you were  facing while updating as we were getting Exit code 123.

There are 2 Options.

1. - Upgrading the OS to MAC 10.11 is the real fix.
2. If you  don’t agree to upgrade then -
   • Replacing the HDCore package on the users machine follow the below mentioned steps:
     • Open the link: http://adobe.ly/28P4IgO and download the dmg file.
     • Mount the dmg file and copy its content (customhook, HDIM.dylib, HDPIM.dylib, HUM.dylib, Install, Setup, Uninstaller).
     • Replace the contents of HDCore package (except HDCore.pimx) present at : /Applications/Utilities/Adobe\ Creative\ Cloud/HDCore on the users machine with the copied one.

The HDCore elements that were installed had a date of June 15, 2016. The ones I just installed are dated June 9, 2016.

I followed your instructions and I was able to initiate updating Audition 2015.2.

I'm not sure how far it got, the last time I looked at it, it said 2%, it then failed with:

Download Error - the download appears corrupted. Please try to download again.

"More Information" gives me:

exit code: 117

FATAL: Fatal error '117' occurred while download

FATAL: Error occurred in download of package (Name: AdobeAudition9All Version: 9.2.0.191). Error code: '117'

I proceeded to attempt to download Media Encoder 2015.3.

This download/update was successful.

I retried updating Audition 2015.2, this time I had success.

I'll continue updating and give a final update once everything is complete.

I was finally able to install the following!
