Re-opening adobe digital editions 4.5 in windows10 issues

I recently downloaded Adobe digital edition 4.5 in windows 10 and was able to read my e books.  However, a few days ago when I tried to re-open it to access my books, it would not open up. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall but to no avail
