I just updated to ColdFusion Builder 2016.  The 3 tabs,

Source view and the two Default Browser view tabs

have disappeared.  I have searched Adobe.com, Help, and only found one reference on this page:

ColdFusion Help | ColdFusion Builder Workbench Basics

It says,

The Source view displays the source code for files. The Default Browser View displays the output in an HTML or CFML page.

but doesn't explain how to make the views appear.

Can anyone help with this?

Hi Joe,

I have the same problem after also recently upgrading and the tabs you mentioned don't show up.

Did you solve the problem and if so, how?

I would be really grateful for your response.

Sincerely Edward Buinowicz

After contact with Adobe it is apparent that the:

Source view and the two Default Browser view tabs have been deprecated and no longer in use.

To view your files in the browser do the following:

  1. Right click in the editor window of your open file
  2. Click on "Run As"
  3. Click on "Coldfusion Application

That will show your file in a browser as we are accustomed to.

Note: Your server has to be running and the file has to be in the document root for this to work.

Hope this can help others.

Edward.
