I've had a similar problem recently. My co-workers and I have the same settings and preferences, however I'm the only one where the TEB is not captured in the Training mode. I can't understand what it is that's not allowing it to be captured and it is way too time consuming to go back and insert a TEB for all text entry actions.
I've tried clearing my Adobe cache, internet cache, restored all Captivate default settings, restarted the computer several times to ensure all company updates ran properly... About to reinstall the program to see if that will solve the issue.
Anyone else know how to fix this issue?
Figured it out! I had waaaaay too many files in my Temp Files folder in my Windows profile. Once IT cleared it, everything worked fine.

I created a new thread from your question, because it has not much sense to put it in a 7-years old thread, which was bit different because it only talked about capturing web applications.
Which version are you using (exact number please)? Do you run Captivate as Administrator?

Thank you Lilybiri.
I am using Captivate 8.01.242 on Windows 7 Professional. And yes, I am running it as an administrator.

Perhaps it boils down to a difference in browsers? Are you using the same browser as your co-workers? If not, that's likely the issue. If you are using the same browser as they are, my guess is that it may be a difference in your browser settings.

Hi Rick,
Sigh, we thought that might be an issue as well, but we're all using IE 11 and, as far as we can tell, using the same settings, same updates, etc.
I've even tried recording on and off the VPN, in and out of Enterprise mode, in different browsers. I've also confirmed, we are not using keyboard shortcuts to navigate but actually clicking (in case it matters).
Thanks for the thought!
