Peter Spier Sep 8, 2016 10:23 AM (in response to n will)Use Lining, rather than proportional, figures, which are all the same width. This won't help, though, when you go from one- to two- to three-digit numbers.
I don't use footnotes enough to remember if the number itself can be set to right-aligned as a numbered list can be.

n will Sep 14, 2016 8:53 AM (in response to Obi-wan Kenobi)Thanks for the help!! Using a tab as the separator worked well. I thought I tried it already, but may have been playing with the indents and spacing options for the paragraph style.
