After restoring Vista on my Compaq Presario FlashPlayer had not been reinstalled. Beaucoup downloads of same failed to install. Shockwave appeared to install successfully, but my first attempt to view an online video generated a "format" issue dialogue.

After restoring Vista on my Compaq Presario FlashPlayer had not been reinstalled.  Beaucoup downloads of same failed to install.  Shockwave appeared to install successfully, but my first attempt to view an online video generated a "format" issue dialogue.

Excuse me, but this has been anything but intuitive.  For example, What appeared at first to be not unlike a chat session, generated a page which did absolutely nothing more than ask me whether I had intended to write what I had written?????  That was bad enough, but it was taken to an even higher level.  I had no way to respond.

Sheesh!!!!!
