How to correct installation error ERROR: DF024 in CS6

I have just installed Production premium suite and keep getting this type of error for 6 of the components:

----------- Payload: AdobeColorCommonSetRGB CS6 4.0.0.0 {C7B1C1B3-368D-4C32-A818-83F1554EB398} -----------

ERROR: DF024: Unable to preserve original file at "/Library/ColorSync/Profiles/Profiles" (Seq 11)

How do I get around this so these components work: After effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash Professional to work for CS6

the error on my side is :

ERROR: DF024: Unable to preserve original file at "/Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS6/Adobe Photoshop CS6.app/Contents/Frameworks/AdobeCrashReporter.framework/AdobeCrashReporter" (Seq 94)

That`s why the renaming of profiles ... does not work

I solved this by going into the mentioned folder, /Library/ColorSync/Profiles/Profiles and renaming that folder. Then retry. The installer will create a new Prolfiles folder and be able to complete the installation. Afterwards you can delete the old folder.

Not sure why, maybe a permissions issue, or a corrupt file. Anyway, it works.

for me, I have an error saying ERROR: DF024: Unable to move file at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers\adobeTemp\{3FB7A108-368A-4849-A3F3-69571BAAC457}\_1_b9e4689359fdc59da875efece27e6487

to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2015\32 bit Photoshop dlls\libifcoremd.dll" Error 32 The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.. Try setting correct permissions to the specified file/folder or parent folder, so that admin has rights to modify it.(Seq 1)
