Hello,

I'm trying to create 3 simple curved arrows that make up a full circle using the arrow tool in Fireworks - although I don't seem to be able to easily curve the arrows. Is this done using a path? Or is there another method that i'm missing? Would really appreciate some help.

Many thanks

Nice tutorial.

I cheated and used the 'Pie Chart' Auto shape which cuts out a few steps in
the process.

Peter. Good idea on the Pie Chart. I might update my tutorial.

I didn't even realise that yours was a FW PNG. I Just thought it was an example pic you'd found 🙂 I always name my FW PNG *.fw.png so I know which are which.

That's a habit I'm trying to get into, but am not quite there yet.

I just posted that to check with the op that I was on the right track, but
as he never reappeared, I'll never know, but I had fun creating it.

I also enjoyed your 'snake' tutorial. A few years ago I tried to create this
effect, but I along with several forum regulars ran out of ideas using FWs
and we ended up using Freehand (the blend mode, I think). I'll have to see
if I can find some of the info on it.

Cheers

Peter

Not sure if you got an answer to this or not, but if you draw your
strait arrow first, then draw a new curved path. You can select both
objects and in FW CS4 use the Path panel to Deform to Path.
