I'm just in the process of moving from a PC to purchasing the Mac Book Pro (Non Retina) to specifically run PS CC 2015.5...
Tanusree's reply simply points to the basic computer configuration. However, there's numerous performance complaints that the most current PS version, 2015.5, is lacking, running slow, on Mac setups. This is confirmed by the following links:
Note: Additionally, iMac user's have complained about how sluggish PS CC 2015.5 is on their iMac Retina 5K systems. Source: Terrible performance on iMac 5K
Question: In view of these documented issues, I'm planning on moving from a PC to a Mac Book Pro [Non Retina] and would like to know (1) What configuration I really need to avoid the poor performance issues reported by Mac user's? (2) I've been using CS6, but will need to move over to the Creative Cloud plan for Photoshop. (3) If in fact CC2015.5 is a problem, can I download and run the 2014 version of PS?
Thank you for your assistance!
