Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Premiere Elements 11?
At what point does the program stop working? Does it not open at all -- or does it quit in mid-project?
When you have last run Malware Bytes?

Could you please get the error report from the event viewer so that we have a better idea of the crash?

Soon as the catalog loads, get an error message.
have McAfee and run with no viruses reported. Problem began with a malware attack that took over the sound system and then sent a "ransom" note saying call them to get a "Microsoft certified technician" to fix the problem.
Took the system to local computer doctor. He did virus scan, told me I should get version of Photoshop that supports Win 10.
My belief is somewhere a bug got inserted that no one has found yet. So in the meantime I am using 11 and trying to figure out 13. Trial of 15 produces same error. Some puzzle!

But you will need to provide him the information he needs if you want him to help you. Simply saying your computer is top of the line but the program won't run tells us nothing.
