Graduated filters are not synching in auto synch

I select a group of files, have auto synch chosen, add a graduated filter as well as adjustments for typical issue like color temp, exposure, etc. and everything synchs but the grad filters. I didn't have this problem until recently. All boxes are checked in items to synch.

I am using 4.4.1 on a Mac running 10.11.4
