AE 2017 - Keyboard commands don't work (German layout)

It seems the short cuts are from the Eng layout:

"TimeSetIn" = "([)"

"TimeSetOut" = "(])"

I changed them to:

"TimeSetIn" = "(Umlaut_O)"

"TimeSetOut" = "(Umlaut_A)"

but AE stops working after launch.

Is there a possibility to change the short cuts?

I figure out a solution for myself. These are the quotation marks that were automatically changed by changing the short cuts. Copy & paste helps.

How ever, in general it would be great if the old short cuts are retained.
