Hi everyone.

Since two weeks I have a problem in InDesign CS6.

The cursor in the control panel on top and the right tools menu is not directly behind the text.

It is shifted to the right. What is the problem ?

Can anyone help?

Thanks!

Here are two pictures to clarify the situation:

What operating system is that? Have you tried trashing your preferences?

Hello Bob Levine,

I’m working with an iMac, macOs Sierra, 10.12.1

What do you mean by trashing your preferences and how do I do that ?

Met vriendelijke groet,

Johan Bremer.

CS6 is not supported under El Capitan or Sierra.

Beyond trashing your preferences, you’re on your own here.

I had a conversation with a client who had this problem as well. To trash the preferences and the cache did help him.

Hallo Haeme,

I have put InDesign Caches and Preferences  on the desktop. Closed all programs.

Turned off the computer. Started again. Opened Indesign.

Unfortunately it did not work for me.
