heya,

I've literally been trying for over an hour to get my text in front of a picture, and inDesign literally just won't do it. Problem only occurred since updating to indesign 2017, any ideas on how to fix this?

  1. Do you work with layers?
  2. What are the text frame settings? Or its Object Style? Ignore Text Wrap?
  3. Is text wrap turned on?

Have tried the layers, text still disappears behind the photo. And haven't turned on text wrap. It's driving me insane!

Did you check text wrap against the object as whole object and also against the content of the frame, the image itself?

What happens if you set the Text Frame Options to Ignore Text Wrap? If that fixes it then there is text wrap on the graphic, its frame, or something else.

A screen shot would be helpful if this question is still unanswered.
