For the first time I have a problem with the import of photos from my Nikon D7100 to Lightroom 6.7 on my iMac. I have installed 10.12.1 (Sierra). I get the following error. Some help will be useful, I hope.

Hi hansb,

Could you please help us translate the error message in the screenshot?

Also, post a screenshot of the Import window with the Destination panel Expanded as shown in the screenshot below.

Regards,

Akash

I'm guessing that the error message reads something like

"The files could not be imported because they could not be read or because the destination folder is not writeable"

This usually means that you do not have write permissions on the folder you are importing to - probably the permissions got changed when you installed Sierra.

Right click the folder, choose Get Info, and make sure permissions are set to both read and write.

(not a Mac user myself, so I can't be more specific)
