hi

i am using Draw on my iPad Pro and using a pencil to create line drawings. Before the update, I was saving them to my Dropbox as vector png files with a transparent background. I was then opening the images in Photoshop on my laptop and enlarging the images. They would NOT become pixelated When I increased their size.

now however, this is not happening. The images are saving with an off-White background and when saving to Dropbox as a png or to Creative Cloud as psd or pdf they are becoming pixelated when I increase their size. How do I prevent this and get it back to the way it was working before?

I am using Draw 4.

Do I need to upgrade or pay in order to do this?

Hi Sarah,

I responded on your other post, but just to be sure you see it, I'm pasting my response here too:

The team has discovered that this is a bug in the current version of the app. Images saved to the camera roll are half the size they used to be. The team knows about it and is working on fixing it. In the meantime, the only way around it is to Send to CC Files as PDF and then export the image from the PDF.

I know that's a pain but the team should have an update soon.

About the transparent background: You'll notice in the new version of Draw that there's a Background Layer in every new drawing. It's possible now to control whether the background is copied or not by hiding its visibility when copying/saving images. To do that, double tap on the layer icon to change its transparency; if the transparency checkerboard is visible on the canvas, the image will export with a transparent background.

Let me know if you still have questions.

Sue.

Sarah.

Good. Glad it's working. We'll have a bug fix out probably sometime next week.

Hang in there.

Sue.
