New ebooks not showing up on the adobe digital editions android app?

I have downloaded new new pdf/ ebooks that I brought onto the Adobe Digital Editions on my laptop, and downloaded the app unto my android phone and signed in/ authorised, however my pdf/ ebooks are not showing up on the app?

Any help please?

I'm not that great and techy by the way so if possible can I have it in plain terms please? And thank you!
