Not doing what tutorial says

Ok this is the first day of trying out Muse

been trying things out to see if it's worth using at work

Watching a Adobe tutorial about how to make a responsive site - she says you move the bar (changing the width of the page) tell it to make a new breakpoint, then move things as necessary for that size. Then she flicks between the two sizes, showing how it dynamically moves.

But when I do it, what i change stays on the larger size as well... what am i doing wrong??

Most times, when I have such issues with tutorials it is because I have missed something that was previously suggested in the tutorial that I did not follow. I suggest going back and seeing if you missed following any instruction.
