Opening Raw Files in Lightroom CC [Unable to open Nikon D810 Raw files in Lightroom CC 2015.7]

I have a new NIKON 810 and cannot open 'RAW' pictures in Lightroom CC downloaded from the camera. It stills works on the NIKON D7000.

Have updated Lightroom CC, Photoshop and Bridge on my MAC Book Pro but to no avail.

I have camera raw version 9.7 and the Lightroom Software Version is 2015.7 (the latest on offer)

Any suggestions?

If you used Nikon Transfer to download your images from the camera, that could be your problem. Older versions of Nikon Transfer make NEF files so they cannot be read by Lightroom or camera raw.
