Creative Cloud is prompting me to upgrade from 5.7 to CC

It does not indicate if this is a free upgrade, there is just a button to push which says "upgrade".

Also, I thought 6 was the next version, why is it not prompting me to upgrade to 6?

Any advice on if/how I should upgrade in light of this?

Are you a Creative Cloud member? Do you already subscribe to any Cloud plans?

If not, then you'd have to join the Cloud to use the CC version past its trial period.

Version 6 is the perpetually licensed upgrade. CC 2015.7 is the Cloud version - nearly but not quite identical.
