I have moved my catalog and images to a new computer with a different drive configuration. All is good except one little annoying thing and that is in the FOLDERS panel there is a drive that I will never use again as it is on the other computer. Not even sure how it found it's way back in here but non the less, how do I remove it?

Click the black arrow to the right of "Internal HD 1T".  Do you see folders with "?" on them, e.g.

If so, then you have folders that were originally on that drive, and LR can't find the new location of the folders.  You'll need to tell LR the new location of the folders: http://www.lightroomqueen.com/lightroom-photos-missing-fix/
