Eps files with PANTONE 186C looks darker in exported PDF with InDesign 2017

My coworker notice me there was a significant difference from logo color with document recently created in InDesign 2017.

My first test indicates me that its when the eps is imported that the new color takes place. If the logo is already imported (said in 2016 version and converted in 2017) then the result looks the same. The PANTONE 186C looks pretty darker in 2017.

Anybody here noticed this behavior? Anyone know the reason?

I suspect an update of the internal table for display only (assuming the PANTONE is solid so it does not have to be breakdown in process for print).

Any thought will be nice!

Are all your export settings the same as in 2015?

Thank you for taking the time to ask.

Yes. That was my first investigation. In fact, creating a new doc and importing the eps, you actually see the tonal difference without exporting it.

Do you have to use an eps, it's an obsolete format.
