Importing Ai-file gives AE error

Hi,

I'm working on a project and made something in Ai in proper layers. When I import this file into AE it'll get stuck and says there is an error.

I do this with After Effects CC 2017.0 and Illustrator CC 2017 on Windows 8 (MSI, Intel core i7).

If someone can help me out, that would be awesome!

And what error does it report exactly? You need to be specific. Also provide details about what the AI file actualyl contains and other stuff.
