adding javscript to PDF

Hello, Im trying to add a button on my PDF document so that users can attach a document if need be. I create a button on the pdf and then go into its properties to add the java script but it then doesn't allow me to add one. What am I doing wrong?

thats the thing, it wont let me add a javascript

well the usual thing from what i read was that it would then add a drop down for the javascript so that you can edit it and add a formula to it. right now it wont add the javascript so that i cant create one or edit it.

Select the action "Run a JavaScript" and press "Add...":

Add the JavaScript and press the button "OK":
