Out of the blue, when I'm trying to import images, Lightroom moves those images to a different folder in "Pictures" instead of the original file folder I'm importing from. This isn't happening upon exporting, it's happening when I'm trying to import. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it's still doing it.
This is because when you import, you have chosen the option "Move" in the Import dialog box. "Add" leaves photos where they were.

No, that's what I was saying. It's not happening upon Exporting. I know how to Export, I've been using Lightroom for years. I don't even get the opportunity to Export because when I try to import, it actually moves the photo from where it was originally into a folder with the year in "Pictures". It forces me to import from there, instead of the original folder I had the photo in. This just started happening the other day.

It was never an Issue. It is what the User chose in the import dialog. If you are experiencing the same thing check your import settings.
