Render Queue skips to middle of video

Hi,

When I add my comp to the render queue and get it rendering it doesn't start from the beginning of my animation, but skips to the middle.

What did I do wrong/how do i get it to properly render ?

the default render settings "Best Settings" is to render the time span of your Work Area, and not the entire length of your composition duration. check your work area in your composition timeline panel. if needed drag it to the beginning or use the shortcuts B (Beginning) and N (eNd) to set it up.
