Hello, I have been a FCP user for years and decided to download Adobe After Effects in hopes of achieving some cool stuff to make my videos better. I have used AE to make a title page with moving letters, and even a cool glitch intro effect. In those I was able to use the keyframe. I was recently working on the luma fade blending technique (popular from Sam Kolder video edits) and when I had all my items where I wanted them, there was no option to use keyframes!! This makes it very difficult because the beginning and the end of the effect are now very abrupt. Is there any way to get the keyframe back on? My computer wont even let me access it in the menu bar on the top of my computer. Thanks!

Nobody can tell you anything without proper system info or other technical details like exact version of AE and how you actually have set up your matte fades and what properties you actualyl want to keyframe.
