Sony A7RII ARW files in Lightroom CC- unable to read format

Hi everyone,

I upgraded to Lightroom CC last week, I was looking forward to work on ARW files directly.

The first time I imported them it all worked out, it was able to read them and I was happy to enjoy the automatic lens correction features finally.

However after that, every time I tried to import other ARW files it didn't read them anymore, just like my older version of lightroom.

What could be the problem? it's very weird, anyone else had it?

The exact version of Lightroom you are running is crucial here.

Cameras supported by Camera Raw

The A7RII was first supported in version 6.1.1 (aka CC 2015.1.1).

Ensure that you are running the latest version of Lightroom CC 2015.7.

but when I check for updates in the creative cloud it tells me that it's already updated!

Well CC 2015.0 is out of date and the update report is wrong.

Try Available updates not listed for Adobe Creative Cloud applications

Try manually updating to 2015.7. Click Lightroom 6 then download the updates manually.
