Purchased a copy of LR6 so I could have 3 computers running CC & 6

I have 2 iMac's running LR CC and I wanted to have another copy of LR6 running on my laptop so I wouldn't have to keep signing out to run the 3rd copy.

But even though I purchased and downloaded the LR6 for my laptop, I'm required to sign into my Adobe ID; and when I do that, I'm told that I have exceeded my license and have to sign out of one of the other computers.

Any advice on how I can work around this?

Set up a second Adobe account and use the new ID to activate the stand alone version.

Tried that, but because I bought the copy of LR6 under the old ID, it doesn't show up under the new one.  It lets me start the Trial, but there's no place to enter the serial number.
