Last Frames of my Footage are Black

When I import a JPEG sequence as footage the last 15-20 frames are always black. The pictures are available and also visible on the hard disk. But apparently these are not recognized when importing. The names of the images are correct. It is synonymous no matter what sequences I import, it is always the same result. The last recognized image is only repeated in the Details layer. I have also re-created the JPEG images. Somewhere when importing is an error. Can someone help me?

I am suspecting the new jpegimporter. Try this: import your jpg sequence by selecting all files *.* and then change the import format from jpegimporter to jpeg. More about it here: Re: AE CC 2017 - BIG Bug interpreting the FPS of the sequence of images

thank you sebastian. please file a bug report with a link to this thread: Feature Request/Bug Report Form  the team should know all the errors this jpegimporter is causing and not sure they are aware of this one too.
