Indesign file freezes when packaging and when opening again it is frozen....

I was packaging my document and it froze. Now every time I open it it lets me scroll for a minute or save it but then freezes after a few seconds of opening. Anyone know what is wrong? I have saved this file and when opening the other saved file or the IDML it does the same thing or the IDML file doesn't even open. But if I open another file it works fine. This is in InDesign.... I have tried almost everything..... An Help?

Also someone said to look and see if I have auto saved files anywhere... I have no idea where to look for that!

Thanks for reporting the issue.

Can you please share the exact steps to reproduce and help me with following information for further investigation:

1. Which OS are you working on?

2. Are your filed placed on some network location and are you packaging on network location?

3.Is it specific to a file or happening with any file? If specific, send me the file at monsingh@adobe.com

I am on MAC using El Capitan and have had the same issue with crashes and freezing during packaging. After I told it to Package I turned off the check boxes for it to create the .idml and .pdf files and it worked. I then created those files myself separately.
