I get the following error message when trying to launch InDesign:   Unable to launch Adobe InDesign as you do not have sufficient permissions to access the preferences folders. Ensure that you have appropriate permissions and then restart Adobe InDesign.

I have signed out and back in from CC

I have checked the permissions and changed them to match the ones in Photoshop (all permissions now say "read & write)

Any help would be appreciated.

Problem solved with the help from trouble shooting 101

I made the hidden library visible, trashed the preference files, uninstalled ID, reinstalled ID.  Took a deep breath and launched ID.

It works - hooray.     With special thanks to the advice from Peter?
