Just bought the Panasonic DMC-FZ2000 but the raw converter is not yet available in LR6 or DNG converter.  Do you have any idea as to the date of the next update?

It should be in the next update, but I don't have a timetable.

I like that camera!  If I didn't have too many already, it would be on my short list.

Adobe updates the RAW camera list about every 60 days, plus or minus.   The people that know exactly can tell you!

Have fun with your new camera.  JPEG won't be bad for a little while!

I thought it was closer to every 90 days.

No they can't tell you. They are not allowed to state this publicly.

If you have bought the camera already, you could use the manufacturer's software to convert the RAWs to TIF, and then import the TIF into Lightroom.

Unfortunately the camera did not come with any software  included.  According to the manual included users should use Silkypix developer software, a download, to convert.  Again, the camera is not yet supported by there software.  Looks like Jpeg for awhile.

P.S.  Video is awesome

There is no software you can download?

The specifications for this camera state very clearly

The software to process RAW file on computer is not bundled with DMC-FZ2000. To do this, SILKYPIX Developer Studio is available for download at Ichikawa Soft Laboratory's website using computer connected to the Internet.

Ooops.  I'll blame what I typed against what I meant to type on either the spell checker or the need for more coffee!  My bad.

I think that should be included in the next LR update.

The only people with that knowledge are under an NDA and cannot speak on the topic.

That said, it is a reasonable expectation for this next release or the one after it.
