Hi,

I would appreciate some help: How can you keep two versions of after effects, ie the current, old one, and also a copy of the new update? I partly want to keep the old one as I have had problems with 2017 before and went back to the old version. Now I want to see if I can get around that issue but have the old version just in case.

Second question: Will the update contain everything from the old ie current version I am using, ie cc 2015 3, such as plugins, scripts etc? If not, this is a lot of work....

Many thanks

Disable the "delete previous version" option in the CC settings. Settings and plug-ins don't auto-migrate, since many of them are not universally compatible and require updated versions.
