Hi guys,
A friend of mine just finished 112 pages on InDesign. While exporting to PDF InDesign crashed. Now every time she or i open the file InDesign crashed. It is frustrating because she will have to start all over again. I have been reading the forums.
Since i cannot even open the file because InDesign crashed I tried the

with no luck
Here is the crash report
InDesign Crash Report - GOBIERNO FER MEL - Pastebin.com
Any help or ideas what i can i try now?
Thanks 1000! 🙂
Hi,
There are multiple factors both internal and external to InDesign application that can lead to document corruption. However, I can take a look and see if the file can be repaired. Please email your InDesign file to corrupt_indesign_docs@adobe.com and I will take a look at the document.
If the file is larger than 10 Mb, you can zip (and password protect) the file and upload to Creative Cloud account (or Dropbox) and send us the document link.

Hi,
I've seen into your crash report.
I don't say, that's the culprit, but could you uninstall Suitcase and have another try?

Thanks for the suggestion Uwe.
By the way, how can i learn to read a crash report to see which might be the cause?

Just a guess from my side.
Lines 32 and 33 of your crash report are showing that a Extensis Suitcase plug-in is installed.
To exclude Suitcase—no Adobe product—from the equation, I suggested to uninstall it.
Maybe a used font is corrupt and cannot be processed by Suitcase, maybe something else…
At least it would be worth a try to start InDesign without 3rd-party-plug-ins.

Uwe

Hi Laubender,
Is there any way to start InDesign without loading 3rd-party-plug-ins? Something like doing a Safe Boot in Mac.
Thanks

Hi Sanyam Talwar, thanks for the idml working file! great news indeed.
I was working in InDesign CS6, version 8.02 for Mac. How did you repair it by the way?
Cheers,
