Having trouble importing my RAW images into Lightroom from 5d mark IV -- Lightroom will not import the images at all and says the files cannot be read. Also noticing Lightroom freezing/stalling way more than usual, causing me to 'force quit' pretty often. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated! thanks!

If Lightroom says that the files cannot be read it actually means that you do not have write privileges on the folder you are trying to import to. Check your destination in your import panel. It is probably set to the wrong location. Likely the root level of your hard disk or another folder you do not have write access to.
