Loop as if on a cylinder

How do I set up a background to move across the stage but "loop" so that as the end starts to move across the stage the first edge immediately comes in. I can get it to loop, but it leaves a white area as the last part moves across the stage.

You need a second copy of the last area and of the first area. The duplicate of the last area would be to the left of the original first area and the duplicate of the first area would be to the right of the original last area.

Then you can move left or right, and when you move into one of the two duplicate areas you can snap the whole thing back to the original of that area.

Use two copies of your background side-by-side instead of just one.
