LR stuck syncing photos that don't exist

I'm running the latest version of Lightroom CC on my Mac, and Lightroom on my IOS devices.  LR on the Mac believes that there are 7 photos left to sync, but they don't exist. 

How can I "reset" the sync status to get rid of this state problem ?
