- What is the best way to draw lines using Indesign? I am creating a document that will be used in a book (in print). I know the traditional way in Word is with a shift and underscore, but I want the lines to be even and evenly spaced so users can write on them. Tips?

Draw what you want and show by screenshot.

As I understand now you need to smoke RTFM: paragraph rules.
