Hello Everyone.
I was watching a Tutorial on Tracking, The Instructor explained that if you use Tripod Pan you will not get any actual 3D Data. So technically, if you shoot with a Tripod which is the Correct way to shoot, you dont get 3D Data??

3D tracking requires parallax which you don't get from a simple pan. You need a minimum of discernible motion difference and separation between foreground and background. That doesn't mean it's impossible to do this, but it's a lot more difficult since the math doesn't work as well. Such stuff will usually require guided/ assisted/ calibrated tracks with additional markers and means of manualyl correcting stuff, which you can't do with AE's 3D tracker.
