Adobe InDesign CC2017 Printer set up Very Slow

When in Adobe InDesign CC 2017 and I print some thing. The Print dialog window pops up no problem. When I click on the "Printer" button, here is where the major slow down begins.

Going in to this area takes forever! We have a Xerox color printer with ab EFI Fiery RIP. I am not sure if this has anything to do with it. We have never had a problem on this until just recently.

InDesign its self is working smoothly, it is just when I get into this print area when it slows down.

A driver problem:

Printer and Fiery Features button causes long delays/hang - OS X Yosemite

As you can see it's been around since Yosemite.
