Indesign 2017

Is anyone else finding this version very, very slow to open? Almost a minute from the first click on the icon.

Speed isn't my problem (using a SSD that takes six seconds or less on a four year old win7 machine with 16GB RAM), but everything else.

I loved 2015.5 but this sucks; palettes keep disappearing just like that, selection issues, in Photoshop it wouldn't recognize active keyboard shortcuts and now it picks up a color by the pipette as background instead foreground color - I have no idea what they thought they were doing... I just hope that there will be a 2017.1 soon. 😕

Try restoring your InDesign preferences:

Trash, Replace, Reset, or Restore the application Preferences

Now I just got to figure the rest in Photoshop and get surprised as soon I need some of the other Apps (Illustrator, etc.).
